Dear Cindy Sheehan,

Anybody who has watched the news the last few weeks has heard your name Mrs. Sheehan. Most people have heard by now of your great loss. As a mother, you have lost one of the dearest things in your life, your son. I must say I can understand the pain of losing a loved one. It is always a regrettable thing.

But why must you push your political agenda down on everyone in America Mrs. Sheehan? Why have you spread lies about Iraq and in the process undermined our troops over there? Why is it that you are one of the minority of parents who disapproves of this war, yet you get the majority of the news coverage. Do you feel the pain that you cause other parents and troops? Do you honestly think he died for nothing?

If your son has died for nothing, what does that say about him? If he went there knowing he was fighting for evil, what does that make him? Blind or evil. Either way, this doesn’t speak well for him. Your son will live on through the memories he left behind, but what happens when those memories become tainted? You have tainted your son’s memories Mrs. Sheehan, and I’m afraid you will realize it to late. You have killed all that is left of your son, for what? For your own selfish political motives.

You have aligned yourself with the far left of this country. Have you done this to discredit yourself, or do you honestly believe that this group resonate with all of America? I’m afraid if you said the latter, you are sorely mistaken. America, despite its many flaws, stands on a mountain far and away from you and your followers. Despite being covered by the media, I know what mainstream America believes, and you are about as far as can be. CNN and NBC may jump at a chance to cover an anti-war liberal, but I see through their disguise. I applaud the many parent who have risen up to say, “You Don’t Speak for us Mrs. Sheehan.” But where is there coverage? Oh yeah, that’s right, they don’t meet the media’s liberal agenda.

You have disgraced your son, and now you disgrace yourself. Why have you made yourself out as a hypocrite? Why is it that you met with the president once before, and you only had good things to say? But now it appears that you have only changed your attitude to suit the needs of Moveon.org and other liberal organizations. We all have heard your weeping, and we all can sympathize with the loss of your son. But please cut out the politics, and go home and grieve as you should…in your room. Because I think I speak for most of America when I say, we are all tired of your wining and your treachery of the troops and your country.

Sincerely,
A Concerned Citizen
