School’s been going pretty smoothly lately. Not to many new things for me to talk about. I have quit driving my car for now. Seeing as I have no money to my name, I cannot afford to get my car insurance renewed. And even if I could, I would still be unable to do it because I do not have the title in my name. So it looks like I’ll be walking and riding on the bus for a while. Luckily, I have a little garage to keep it in while it is not in use. I was able to use the bus all of last week and I was pretty satisfied with it. In fact, it may be even nicer than driving. It has air conditioning, and I no longer have to worry about gas prices. Plus I can do stuff on the bus since I don’t have to keep my eyes glued to the road. And the bus takes me straight from my street to the college. The only complaint I really have about it is that I am now dependant on the bus schedule instead of myself. And I have severely limited my choice of churches to ones that are on the route of the bus. But I have no other choice right now.

Last week started my emergence into a job search mode. I have an interview next week at CompUSA (a Best Buy clone basically). So we’ll see how it goes. I am also looking at military options with college differment. But I’ll have to wait and see how everything pans out. I didn’t go to church today. I was really tired and I really am not sure how the whole bus situation will turn out. I certainly will not be able to go to an Assembly as I’d originally hoped.

Today is the aniversery of 9/11. In honor of that day, I am posting a sattelite photo of New York after the terrorist attacks. Click on the image to see it full size. I have also taken some pictures of my school in Yahoo Photos.
