This week has been a mixed bag of goods in term of news. There was one issue I had this week on a personal front that tore at me a little. But all in all, I am so grateful for all the blessings I continually receive. I told you all last time that I went to the DMV and I was expecting to receive my California Driver’s License in 2 to 4 weeks. So I was awfully surprised yesterday when I received my License in less than 2 weeks. I think this may be the first time any government organization actually went faster than they promised. Needless to say, I was very excited. I also finally got my college ID yesterday, the same day as my license. It was a very exciting day yesterday!

Today I worked all day as I do every Thursday. While work is always work, my job can be very enjoyable. In fact, the only time I really dislike this job is when I start to run out of things to do, because then I have to go bother my boss for more assignments, and I don’t like doing that. One good thing that came of my day today was that I was able to ask my boss about my schedule as far as the holidays, and she said that I can take as much time off as I need. Now do you understand why I keep saying I’m blessed? So I’ll probably just take off two days for thanksgiving, but for Christmas I want to get at least a week off so I can fly home. Now that I have that issue dealt with, I just have to double check my Class schedule and check over my wallet, and Lord willing, I can visit Belleville for Christmas.

You should all know that I have car insurance now. It has been pleasant to have a reliable form of transportation again. And when I say reliable, yes I am talking about my ‘91 Toyota Tercel. I love that little car. I put a lot of work into her, and she keeps giving back to me. That’s my little rant for the week; I’m just so proud of that thing.

OK, so I’m going to start getting free Mobile-to-Mobile minutes next month, so everybody run out and switch your phones to Sprint or Nextel. That way I can talk to you any time in the day for absolutely nothing. For the rest of you, that’s why we have free weekend minutes.
