Yesterday I decided to take an all day trip off base – destination the Cinemark in Gulfport, MS. I have been planning this trip for a few weeks now, and wouldn’t you believe it decided to rain all day on me. But that didn’t stop me. I got on the bus first thing in the morning and three busses later, I arrived at the movie theatre ready to watch Spiderman 3. The movie itself was very well done, and it had a very good morale at the end – that forgiveness is better than revenge. And man were the special effects great!
The power went out twice during the movie, but both times it came back on and the movie just continued where it left off. I would like to see it again without the interuptions though, cause that kind of took me out of the experience temporarily. But all in all it was a good close to my time here in Mississippi. I can’t wait to see what new experiences lay in store for me in Augusta, GA.
