Jason had the chance to meet his cousins from Alabama the first time yesterday, and man, he took to them immediately. He had so much fun in this little toy car with them.
Today, Jason will be going too the zoo with them and his grandparents too.

Jason is now ten months! I can’t believe how quickly time is passing. He’s still not walking, but he’s standing on his own. He’s taken a couple steps on his own, but he seems content to crawl. And man, can he crawl fast!

In other news, it’s just a little more than a month till we move to Colorado Springs. We started getting boxes already for the move. I think we’ll get started packing very shortly.

So Alaina’s parents bought a baby swing, and Jason absolutely loves it. Today he was outside hanging with his cousins. This picture is with his cousin Briley.

I love posting pictures of Jason and me. He is just so cute and amazing. Tonight he was a little fussy because mommy tired him out by taking him to go swimming for the first time. But I’m sure he’ll sleep well tonight.

Today I got the Google Nexus One phone. After playing around with it for most of the day, I am really impressed. But that brings me to the network. I hate At&t with a passion. They forced me to upgrade my data unlimited plan because they said it didn’t cover smartphones. Now I’m out an unlimited data plan because they discontinued them just today. So now I can only use two GB a month. It will probably be enough, but I really think someone should take At&t to court.

A day I thought would never come has come. My tour in the Base Honor Guard is almost finished. I have one more funeral, and another travel day, and then it’s back to the normal job routine. The only problem is that Honor Guard has become my normal job routine. So it’s going to take some getting used to again. I don’t want to say I’ll miss Honor Guard, but I don’t think you can do something for eight months straight, and not have at least a small part of you that becomes attached. But my job is waiting for me, and i will return more than willingly.
